About
I'm a UI/UX designer and frontend developer who believes accessibility isn't optional; it's fundamental to good design. I specialize in strategic information architecture and inclusive user experiences, transforming complex systems into intuitive, accessible interfaces that work for everyone.
From conducting screenreader testing to implementing WCAG-compliant components in Vue, I bridge the gap between design vision and technical reality. My work emphasizes human-centered design, accessibility, and scalable front-end solutions that ensure every user, regardless of ability, can accomplish their goals efficiently.
I’ve worked in hybrid design & frontend roles where I led accessibility initiatives, rebuilt interfaces, and laid the foundations for component libraries in Vue and Storybook. My approach combines strategic thinking with hands-on implementation — the best interfaces emerge when accessibility, usability, and technical excellence inform every decision from the start.
Before transitioning to tech, I taught wellness and movement classes, which shaped how I communicate complex concepts and meet people where they are. I hold a Master’s in Mass Communication (Web Design) from the University of Florida and a B.A. in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College.
When I’m not coding or designing, you might find me reading, dancing, hiking in the mountains, shooting photography, or tinkering with small projects that light me up.
